To secure your booking :
All bookings are guaranteed by a credit/debit card or cheque deposit.
Cheque deposit to the value of one night’s room rate payable to 'Mairlys' and sent to us will be required and balance due on departure.
Supplying your credit/debit card details. We reserve the right to take a deposit equivalent to one nights stay if you fail to show. (please see cancellation policy). Full payment is required at the end of your stay either by cash, cheque or card. Please note that card transactions carry a 2% surcharge.
Cancellation Policy
Notice Period:
14 days. Written notice is defined as a letter or email. The period of notice is taken from 2.00 p.m. on the proposed day of arrival.
Charges:
Every effort will be made to re-let the room(s). However if we are unable to re-let any of the facilities we will charge the total cost of the facilities booked or any subsequent shortfall against the original booking should the room be relet. If you shorten your stay we reserve the right to charge you for the full period booked.
Method of Charging:
Any cancellation charges will initially be offset against any deposit (if held) and /or payment charged against the credit/debit card supplied to secure the booking.
No Show Charges:
All bookings are guaranteed by a credit/debit card or cheque deposit. Failure to arrive will result in a 'no show' charge being charged to your card up to the rack rate of the room booked or loss of cheque deposit.
A Word of caution:
To prevent any potential loss due to cancellations we do stress the importance of taking out travel insurance to protect yourself.
