Coed y Celyn Lodge is the former gate house to the Coed y Celyn estate as evidenced by its position alongside the imposing cast iron entrance gates ,which like the lodge itself is grade 2 listed building.
Built in Circa 1850 the house retains its original front elevations which belie the extensive extensions to the rear added under the auspices and high standards of the Snowdonia national park authorities.
The building lies on the banks of the river Conwy with extensive gardens down to the river and views of the Lledyr hills and Gwyder Forrest beyond.
